Travel Information

From Vienna Airport in Schwechat to Eschenbachgasse (21km):

• By taxi
  Fares are around €30-35.

• By City Airport Train (CAT)
  Single ticket costs €9.
  Wien-Mitte to Eschenbachgasse: U4 until Karlsplatz, then change to
  U2 and exit at Museumsquartier

• By bus
  Single ticket costs €6.
  Schwedenplatz to Eschenbachgasse: U1 until Karlsplatz, then change to
  U2 and exit at Museumsquartier

From Vienna central station (“Westbahnhof”):

• By subway:
  U3 until Volkstheater, then change to U2 and exit at Museumsquartier

Information for Speakers

Parallel Paper Presentations:

• Long Papers: 25 minutes
  Presentation time includes up to 5 minutes for questions and answers
• Short and Position Papers: 15 minutes
  Presentation time includes a few minutes for questions and answers

Poster Sessions:

Posters will be presented on Monday 28 June 2004 (17:00-18:00).

For posters, pin boards will be provided, with a surface that is 160 cm high and 130 cm wide. The set-up of the posters will take place on Monday, 28 June, 08:00 - 14:00. Pins and tape will be made available from the Conference Secretariat to pin posters on the grids.

Equipment and Technical Information:

Visual Support
An overhead projector (OHP), data / video projector, a projection screen and, upon request, a flipchart.

Computer Support
1 PC with CD-ROM, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Media Player, Acrobat Reader and Internet connection (WLAN, 1 Mbit).

Presenters who will bring their presentations in a CD-ROM or floppy disk are advised to bring with them a second copy as a back-up. Help will be available to presenters for the installation of their presentation upon request.

Audio Support
A clip-on microfone for each presenter.

The Speaker Preparation Room

For your convenience, there will be a Speaker Preparation Room available, where you can make any final preparations for your presentation. When in the Speaker Preparation Room, please be aware of other speakers who may have urgent needs for equipment in the room. If you are using the Speaker Preparation Room for last-minute materials preparation and need special software, you must use your own laptop.

Social Events

Gala Dinner
The Gala Dinner takes place on Monday 28 June, 19:30 – 23:30, at the Gloriette Café.
Extra tickets can be booked through the Workshop Registration for 70 Euros per ticket.
